You do not necessarily need to form a company or obtain an EIN simply to open a ShopYellowPages store. However, every seller is responsible for understanding and following the laws that apply to what they sell.
What ShopYellowPages Verifies
ShopYellowPages keeps participation accessible by not requiring every seller to submit extensive business paperwork before getting started.
Sellers certify that their products, services, and activities comply with applicable laws. ShopYellowPages may request additional information when investigating a complaint, reviewing a safety concern, responding to a legal request, or determining whether a seller may participate in a restricted category.
A ShopYellowPages store or Business Directory listing does not mean that ShopYellowPages has verified or endorsed the seller’s licenses, credentials, insurance, business registration, or qualifications.
Business Directory listings are created and managed by the business owner or an authorized representative. ShopYellowPages does not independently verify the accuracy of every listing before publication. Businesses are responsible for keeping their information accurate and up to date.
Business Listing Guidelines
- Businesses must provide truthful information.
- No impersonation.
- No misleading claims.
- No deceptive contact information.
- No spam listings.
- One listing per legitimate business location Businesses must own or be authorized to manage the listing.
