Can I shop from businesses near me?
Yes! Many vendors choose to sell only within their local community, while others offer shipping throughout the United States. You will automatically browse local products unless you choose to explore items from businesses nationwide.
Can I pick up my order locally?
Many vendors offer local pickup or delivery. If available, those options will appear during checkout or on the product listing.
How do payments work?
All payments are processed through Stripe. Vendors receive payment for their products after applicable marketplace and payment processing fees are deducted.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. ShopYellowPages does not store your credit card information. Payments are processed through our secure payment provider using industry-standard encryption.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are determined by each individual vendor and are displayed before you complete your purchase. Some vendors also offer free shipping or local pickup.
Can one order include products from multiple vendors?
Because products are sold by independent businesses, your order will be split into multiple shipments if you purchase items from more than one vendor. Shipping charges and delivery times may vary by seller.
What if I have a problem with my order?
We encourage buyers to contact the seller first, as most issues can be resolved quickly. If you’re unable to reach a resolution, ShopYellowPages is available to help review disputes in accordance with our Marketplace Policies.
Can I return an item?
Each vendor establishes their own return and refund policies within the guidelines of the ShopYellowPages Marketplace. Please review a seller’s policy before making a purchase.
How do I know if a seller is trustworthy?
ShopYellowPages works to maintain a safe marketplace through community reporting, content moderation, and marketplace policies. Buyers are also encouraged to review seller profiles, ratings, and product descriptions before purchasing. Refer to the Community Safety Guidelines for more information and suggestions.
Does ShopYellowPages rank businesses based on who pays more?
No. One of our core values is fairness. Businesses cannot pay to appear higher in marketplace search results. Listings are displayed using our standard search and sorting methods – not by advertising dollars.
Does ShopYellowPages sell my personal information?
No. We believe your information belongs to you. ShopYellowPages does not sell customer personal information to third parties.
How do sales taxes work?
Applicable sales taxes are calculated during checkout based on your shipping location and current tax laws. ShopYellowPages collects and remits sales tax where required.
Can businesses sell nationally?
Yes. Vendors decide where they want to sell. Some choose to serve only their local community, while others ship products across the United States.
Why shop on ShopYellowPages instead of a larger marketplace?
Every purchase supports an independent business rather than a large corporation. Our marketplace was created to help local businesses grow, encourage entrepreneurship, and keep more economic activity within communities. We also believe in fair search results, transparent pricing, and protecting customer privacy.
Want to Sell Instead of Shop?
If you’re a business owner, artisan, maker, or creator, becoming a vendor is easy. Create your storefront, add your products, choose whether to sell locally or nationwide, and start reaching new customers through the ShopYellowPages Marketplace.
