Before You Post

By submitting a classified advertisement on ShopYellowPages, you agree to comply with this Posting Policy, our Community Safety Guidelines, and all applicable laws.

All listings are subject to review and may be edited, rejected, or removed at our discretion.

Listings Must Be Accurate

Every listing must:

Be truthful and accurate.
Include a clear title and description.
Use current photos of the actual item when applicable.
Clearly describe the item’s condition.
State an honest asking price if a price is listed.
Include only information relevant to the listing.

One Listing Per Item

To keep the classifieds fair:

Post each item only once.
Do not create duplicate listings.
Do not repeatedly repost active listings.
Remove listings once the item is sold or no longer available.

Prohibited Listings

The following may not be listed on ShopYellowPages:

Illegal Items

Stolen property
Counterfeit goods
Illegal drugs
Drug paraphernalia
Illegal services
Fraudulent documents
Recalled products prohibited from resale

Dangerous Items

Explosives
Fireworks where prohibited by law
Hazardous chemicals
Toxic materials

Adult Content

Pornographic material
Escort services
Adult entertainment
Sexually explicit services

Financial Schemes

Pyramid schemes
Multi-level marketing opportunities presented deceptively
Get-rich-quick schemes
Fake investment opportunities
Loan scams

Misleading Listings

Fake giveaways
Misrepresented products
Clickbait listings
Bait-and-switch offers
Listings intended solely to collect personal information

Spam

Excessive duplicate postings
Keyword stuffing
Listings unrelated to the selected category
Advertising unrelated businesses within another listing

Pet Adoption and Rehoming Listings

ShopYellowPages Classifieds may be used for lawful, local pet adoption and rehoming notices. These listings are informational classified advertisements and are not ShopYellowPages Marketplace transactions.

The person posting the listing must have the legal authority to place the animal for adoption or rehoming and must provide truthful information about the animal. Listings should include, when known:

Species and breed or mix

Approximate age

Sex

General health and vaccination information

Spay or neuter status

Behavioral or household considerations

Location

Whether an adoption or rehoming fee applies

Listings may not promote irresponsible breeding, repeated commercial litter sales disguised as personal rehoming, animal flipping, animal fighting, or the transfer of animals prohibited by law.

ShopYellowPages strongly encourages adopters to meet the animal and responsible party safely, verify veterinary and ownership information, obtain written records, and avoid paying for an animal that they have not been able to verify. ShopYellowPages does not inspect, guarantee, or certify animals or listing parties.

Breeder listings: A lawful breeder may advertise an available litter or upcoming availability in Classifieds when permitted by law and ShopYellowPages policy. The breeder must clearly identify the listing as a breeder listing rather than a personal rehoming, provide the breeder or business name, and disclose applicable licensing or registration information when required. ShopYellowPages may limit repeated or excessive breeder advertisements and may require the breeder to maintain a Business Directory profile.

Appropriate Categories

Choose the category that best fits your listing.

Listings posted in incorrect categories may be moved or removed.

Photos

Photos should:

Be clear enough for buyers to understand what is being offered.
Represent the actual item.
Not contain watermarks promoting another marketplace.
Not include offensive content.

Pricing

Prices should honestly reflect the item being offered.

If an item is free, clearly indicate that.

Do not use misleading prices solely to attract attention.

Local Transactions

Buyers and sellers are responsible for arranging meeting locations, payment methods, and delivery unless the transaction is completed through the ShopYellowPages Marketplace.

For safety:

Inspect items before completing the purchase.
Meet in public places when possible.
Bring another person for higher-value transactions.

Users are responsible for performing their own due diligence before completing any transaction.

Removal of Listings

We may remove listings that:

Are no longer active or relevant.
Violate these policies.
Contain misleading information.
Generate repeated complaints.
Present safety concerns.
Appear fraudulent or deceptive.

Repeat Violations

Users who repeatedly violate these policies may have their listings removed, their posting privileges suspended, or their accounts permanently terminated.

Policy Updates

These policies may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our services, applicable laws, or community needs. Continued use of ShopYellowPages after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policies.
